The first major challenge of the state budget, of course, is its formulation. The second challenge is communication to the public, so that the budget can be understood even without an economist’s education. As a solution, we created the concept of colorful threads. Each thread symbolizes different piece of the budget, including the official colors of various ministries. The budget is not just about expenses and income—it is a story of national development and can only be achieved through collaboration. Symbolically, we explain this idea with threads because only by weaving them together does something valuable emerge.
